Jiffy Lube offers a fantastic training program Jiffy Lube University a CBT (computer-based training) program designed to provide an investment in knowledge and skills to maintain the highest level of service.
This is much like technical schools offer, but in addition to online training we also provide on-the-job training (hands-on) which provides for a more balanced skill set and youll earn while learn.

QualificationsThis is an entry level position and previous experience is preferred but will consider a strong candidate with some automotive background, customer service skills, or Vo-Tech training.
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to
Greeting guests on arrival with a friendly smile and escorted to the lounge
Driving the vehicle into the bay and checking dashboard and exterior lights
Performing courtesies vacuuming interior and cleaning exterior windows
Checking and adjusting tire pressure to manufacturers recommendations
Performing tire rotations and a visual inspection of brake pads, and related partsOnce youve become certified, you will be eligible for advancement opportunities and training in other positions Lube Tech, Plus Tech-Mechanic, and Service Advisor .

Must be able to operate equipment such as overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, hand tools and basic shop equipment
Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as neededRequirements
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Energetic, hardworking, and able to multi-task
Show initiative, responsibility, and must be reliable
Good interpersonal and communication skills
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player
Must have a valid drivers license and authorized to work in the U.
